Yes. Dogs are more than welcome on our charters but we do like to give fair warning that the diesel engines in our restored wooden vessels can be loud and often unsettling for certain dogs. We wouldn’t want this to take away from the quality of your experience as we’ve seen it happen in the past.
You know your dog best and we’d love to have him or her on board if up to it!

Yes! MONHEGAN and MARIE L are equipped with an environmentally friendly composting toilet. The “head” or bathroom compartment is small, but private and functional, similar to the lavatory on a regional jet.
-
MONHEGAN is fitted with a retractable cover over the back deck. MARIE L’s deck is covered by a rooftop. This provides shaded comfort on hot, sunny days and protection from rain if encountered. Clear side panels can be lowered on both vessels as well to help maintain a comfortable temperature June – October.
-
Our charters and tours run rain or shine as long as wind and sea conditions are deemed by the captain to be safe. MONHEGAN and MARIE L are set up to keep guests sheltered in case of wet or windy weather. We watch the weather forecasts closely, and if we are concerned conditions will not be favorable, we will contact you in advance to discuss options.
The bottom line is that we want all of our guests to have a comfortable, enjoyable experience with us and we will not take you out if we cannot guarantee this.

If we are worried conditions will not be favorable, we will contact you in advance to discuss options.
