For the 2026 season, Casco Bay Custom Charters is proud to partner with acclaimed Portland chefs Ilma Lopez and Damian Sansonetti, the team behind Chaval and The Ugly Duckling. Together, we bring Portland’s celebrated food culture onto the water—pairing chef-driven menus with the relaxed, intimate setting of our restored vintage vessels. This collaboration allows us to offer elevated, thoughtfully prepared food across all of our charters, from casual daytime cruises to our most refined dining experiences on Casco Bay.

Catering is available aboard every Casco Bay Custom Charters cruise, whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply want great food to enjoy while exploring the bay. Our onboard catering menu is designed specifically for life on the water—easy to share, beautifully presented, and grounded in the flavors of Portland and coastal Maine.
Guests can build a spread that fits their group and pace, from light snacks and boards to full meals and indulgent add-ons.

Onboard Catering for Every Charter

Catering from our onboard catering menu can be added any time up to 72 hours (3 days) prior to departure. Guests may place orders during the booking process, through our online food & drink ordering form, or by calling or texting our team.

Yes. Catering selections can be updated or added at any point prior to the 72-hour cutoff. All food and specialty drink orders must be finalized in advance to ensure availability and quality.

All items listed on our catering menu—including premium wines—are available by advance order. Signature dining experiences such as the Private Sunset Dinner Cruise and Bottomless Mimosas & Croissant Brunch are booked as separate charter options and are not catering add-ons.

Food is included only on our food-focused private charters, including the Private Sunset Dinner Cruise and Bottomless Mimosas & Croissant Brunch. All other private boat charters offer optional catering, which we highly recommend—guests tend to get hungry on the water.

All charters aboard MARIE L include beer and wine onboard. Charters aboard MONHEGAN may upgrade to an All-Inclusive Drinks package per adult (21+). Premium wines are available on any charter, including dinner and brunch experiences, with advance ordering.

Absolutely. Our menus can be customized to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-related needs. If you have questions or special requests, just let us know—we’re happy to help.

Yes. Guests are encouraged to mix and match items to suit their group, pace, and preferences. If you’re unsure what to order, our team is happy to offer guidance.

All catering and drink upgrades are charged three days prior to departure. Pricing includes Maine’s 8% food and beverage tax.

Gratuity is not included and is always appreciated but never expected. Any gratuity is split evenly among the crew.

Guests are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages aboard our private boat charters. Due to our liquor license, we must be the sole provider of alcoholic beverages. We’ll have the boat stocked with complimentary non-alcoholic drinks, as well as plates, napkins, and cutlery for your group.

All food is handled by our crew with care, professionalism, and a strong focus on safety and sanitation.
