A Lighthouse Tour By Boat Is The Best Way To Experience Maine’s Lighthouses

Portland has never been more popular as a destination known for great food, craft beer, picturesque lighthouses, and friendly Maine hospitality. This 2-hour private tour showcases so much of what makes Portland a wonderful place to visit or call home. Our typical charter route takes you out of Portland Harbor and past four Casco Bay lighthouses, including Portland Head Light, Maine’s oldest lighthouse. Additionally, we cruise past two imposing fortresses built to defend Portland Harbor and some of Maine’s beautiful rocky coastline and scenic islands. A variety of sea birds, eagles, seals and other wildlife are encountered on every cruise.

As Portland’s only full service private boat charter operator, we don’t just show you Portland’s best coastal sights from the water – we allow you to immerse yourself in Maine thanks to our cozy and historic Maine-built wooden boats and friendly captains and deckhands who bring Casco Bay to life with stories and fun facts about the place we call home.

Enhance Your Charter With Local Food and Drink

No tour of Maine is complete without sampling some of our amazing local food and drink. We are proud to work with our local chefs, brewers, distillers, and provisioners to offer fresh local food and drink plus fine imported wines. Onboard catering and drinks service is available on every charter. The base fare for this Private Sightseeing & Lighthouse Tour does not include any food or drinks, but you can easily add these packages to your trip at the time of booking, or any time up to 72 hours prior to your departure.

For those who want to try a little bit of everything, we are happy to offer an all-inclusive drinks package that features a wide variety of locally brewed beer and spiked seltzers, plus imported white, red, rose, and sparkling wines. Premium wines, champagnes, and cocktails are also available and must be purchased in advance.

We always keep a nice selection of non-alcoholic beverages on board as well, and for those who don’t pre-order drinks, on board a la carte purchase options are available.
